Grim Batol: its dark legacy stretches back into the mists of Azeroth's past. But most know it as the site of a terrible tragedy -- where the vile orcs corrupted the hatchlings of the noble Dragonqueen, Alexstrasza, and used them as weapons of war. Though a band of heroes, led by the enigmatic mage, Krasus, defeated the orcs and freed the captive dragons, the cursed mountain stands as another ravaged landmark within the...

WORLD OF WARCRAFT

But now Krasus -- known to some as the red dragon Korialstrasz -- senses the malice of Grim Batol rising once more to threaten those he holds dear. Determined this time to confront this evil by himself, he is unaware of the quests that will draw others to Grim Batol and reveal the monstrous truth that could not only herald their deaths, but usher in a terrible new age of darkness and destruction.

Published: 2008
Author: Richard A.
http://wow.sevenguild.net/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=19

The aging orc shaman Ner'zhul has seized control of the Horde and reopened the Dark Portal. His brutal warriors once again encroach upon Azeroth, laying siege to the newly constructed stronghold of Nethergarde Keep. There, the archmage Khadgar and the Alliance commander, Turalyon, lead humanity and its elven and dwarven allies in fighting this new invasion.

Even so, disturbing questions arise. Khadgar learns of orcish incursions farther abroad: small groups of orcs who seem to pursue a goal other than simple conquest. Worse yet, black dragons have been sighted as well, and they appear to be aiding the orcs. To counter Ner'zhul's dark schemes, the Alliance must now invade the orcs' ruined homeworld of Draenor. Can Khadgar and his companions stop the nefarious shaman in time to stave off the destruction of two worlds?

Published: 2008
Authors: Aaron Rosenberg & Christie Golden

Rise of the Horde

http://wow.sevenguild.net/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=17

Though the young Warchief Thrall ended the demon curse that had plagued his people for generations, the orcs still wrestle with the sins of their bloody past. As the rampaging Horde, they waged a number of devastating wars against their perennial enemy -- the Alliance. Yet the rage and bloodlust that drove the orcs to destroy everything in their path nearly consumed them as well.

Long ago, on the idyllic world of Draenor, the noble orc clans lived in relative peace with their enigmatic neighbors, the draenei. But the nefarious agents of the Burning Legion had other plans for both of the unsuspecting races. The demon-lord Kil'jaeden set in motion a dark chain of events that would succeed not only in eradicating the draenei, but forging the orc clans into an single, unstoppable juggernaut of hatred and destruction.

Published: 2006
Author: Christie Golden

Cycle of Hatred

http://wow.sevenguild.net/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=16

The Burning Legion had been pushed back. The war had been hard fought, but the inhabitants of Kalimdor were beginning to pick up the pieces, to build a new life. The humans at Theramore chose a difficult path, trying to overlook hundreds of years of opposition to build their new homes next to the orcs. Tensions were high, of course, but strong leadership had held them together so far.

Jaina Proudmoore, the young, but very powerful, human mage and ruler of Theramore, never had wished to be a ruler. It was a role that landed squarely on her shoulders after the demons had been sent out of this world. After all, it was she who made the alliance with the Warchief of the orcs, Thrall. And she was not about to let that alliance slip - it had come at too high a price for that.

Neither did Thrall wish to continue the fight. They had been slaves to another's will for too long to remain slaves to hatred; first to The Burning Legion, as the demons' tools of destruction, and then to the humans after the wars had ended. It was Thrall who brought the orcs together, who reminded the once proud orcs of their heritage, who created the alliance with Jaina. He would not allow his people to slip back into this mindless war easily.

But threats to the alliance emerged across Kalimdor. Acts of piracy on an orc trader ship, threats against a human outpost on the border of the orcs lands, and attacks on both humans and orcs by a mysterious band of warlocks marked with a burning blade raised tensions. Jaina and Thrall both worked hard to solve these problems, and eventually found traitors within their own ranks. Along the way, an old hero of Jaina's, the second to last guardian of Tirisfal, Aegwynn, became a valuable ally in solving the mystery of recent events. One of Kalimdor's oldest enemies was back to stir up trouble, using the still fresh hatred between the humans and orcs to try to destroy everything Jaina and Thrall had built.

Cycle of Hatred tells the story of this old enemy, and how the friendship and trust between Thrall and Jaina fought him to try to save their people.

Published: 2006
Author: Keith R.A.
Many months have passed since the cataclysmic Battle of Mount Hyjal, where the demonic Burning Legion was banished from Azeroth forever. But now, a mysterious energy rift within the mountains of Kalimdor propels three former warriors into the distant past -- a time long before orcs, humans or even high elves roamed the land. A time when the Dark Titan Sargeras, and his demon pawns persuaded Queen Azshara and her Highborne to cleanse Azeroth of its lesser races. A time when the Dragon Aspects were at the height of their power -- unaware that one of their own would soon usher in an age of darkness that would engulf the world of...WarCraft®.

In the first chapter of this epic trilogy, the outcome of the historic War of the Ancients is forever altered by the arrival of three time-lost heroes: Krasus, the dragon mage whose great power and memories of the ancient conflict have inexplicably diminished; the human wizard Rhonin, whose thoughts are divided between his family and the seductive source of his now-growing power; and Broxigar, a weathered orc veteran who seeks a glorious death in combat. But unless these unlikely allies can convince the demigod, Cenarius, and the untrusting Night Elves of their queen's treachery, the Burning Legion's gateway into Azeroth will open anew. And this time -- the struggles of the past may well spill over into the future...

Published: 2004
Author: Richard A. Knaak
