Cataclysm - Glyph Interface Preview
The new interface for Glyphs is finally available and it comes with a couple of very interesting improvements.

The biggest change, Glyphs are no longer a consumable item. You learn them and can swap them at any time after that, without having to buy them again.
Prime Glyphs slots have been added
All Glyphs are now listed, including the one you didn't learn yet.
You can search for Glyphs, and filter them.

Power Auras / Spell Procs in Cataclysm
The latest build introduced a VERY interesting feature to the game: a built-in PowerAuras. If you are unfamiliar with the mod, it is mostly used to watch and warn players when a spell proc is available and the game clearly reached the point where it's fairly hard (or just annoying) to play at high level without a mod like this.

Blizzard eventually agreed that watching your buff bar isn't really fun and a new icone appears on your character when situational spells such as Art of War

Sometimes we do not get what we want in a video game. Sometimes Guilds break up. But i hope that you guys do remember to value the friends you have. Cause in the end when your done playing this game your not gonna look at your charater and /sigh at all your gear. You will remember the ppl you played with.

Sharing good times in vent when you kill something for the first time and sharing those moments together. That is what makes guilds stay together. And if you play to upgrade items in a video game and not value the friends you make in it. Well you are gonna lose in the end.

If you play for items in a video game you are a loser. If you play for the challenge of killing new stuff you are a gamer. If you play and value the friends you have made you will have made your 11 dollars a month worth it.

Sorry for your lost Shadow Fade and wish you guys the best. But do not forget about your friends. Sometimes i think we kinda lose sight of that.

The latest beta build added dungeon maps for all the WoW classic dungeons! Absolutely all of them, Gnomeregan, Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, they all got a shiny new world map. Maps for a couple of Cataclysm instances have also been added, including a couple of 5-man instances, the Bastion of Twilight (Grim Batol Raid), and Baradin Hold (the new Vault of Archavon for the faction in control of Tol Barad)

I also included the new map for Darnassus, a couple of others outdoor maps were updated in the latest build but they will be part of another world map/zones page update.

People keep requesting screenshots of some of the faction leaders, here is a nice compilation of all the important NPC/leaders with a special model in Cataclysm. I also added the ones updated in Wrath of the Lich King but I didn't include leaders with a regular player model.

Well quick update:

Nursing school is kicking my ass, just the amount of time having to be put into it, I feel like I am right there raiding LK with yinz and the frustration of patients, I feel how Dev does now when raiding ha. But over all its going good, I do however miss WoW, maybe after some time away when Cata comes out Ill be ready to return (really hope so). I have been doing my best trying to follow everyone on the forums to keep up with how things are going, but I hope its all good.

Someone please update me on the good ol detheroc and all the fun that I am missing haha. With all this non free time I have, been getting back into movies and such, downloading what I can to pass my few hours of freedom especially trying to fill them with laughter. With that thought, does anyone have a demonoid account and are they doing invites again, I know this stopped for some time but not sure if it came back. Please hit me up, and again hope all is going well not only in wow for everyone but in real life

Cataclysm Class Masteries
The latest beta build reintroduced class masteries in-game! Masteries are affected by the Mastery Rating on your gear.

For example, a level 82 player will get 1 Mastery point for each 93 Mastery Rating he has. This mastery point will increase the mastery bonus differently depending on the class, +1 Mastery Point doesn't necessarily means a +1% increase to the bonus. (e.g. A Beast Mastery hunter with +2 Mastery gets +4% increased pet damage)

I've been wanting to post this for awhile but just never got around to it. I'm sure there are people in this guild who still do not have The Undying, The Immortal, Champion of Ulduar and Conqueror of Ulduar. Perhaps when we get some free time during our raid schedule or when we have time on the weekend, we can form a group to get them done. They shouldn't be too difficult to do as long people don't screw around too much. Post in this thread if you are interested or just send me a tell in game.

Was wondering if anyone is looking for a more on the serious side 3/5s team. This would be on my disc priest, Zallos. Hes at 1134 resil and probably another 50 or so in a day, maybe two.

Not the greatest on him yet, but I am learning quick. Me and Auto got to 1500 as boom/disc, but its looking like we are gonna hit a wall as his burst is not enough for higher resil players.

PVP is about the only thing I have time for now-a-days, so let me know if anyone is interested in getting a team started up.

Cataclysm Guild UI Mini Preview
The Guild UI has been disabled during last night's maintenance but I guess a few people want to see how it looks for the moment. Not all parts of the UI are available yet, and I'd rather wait for the official launch on beta servers before I start posting because it looks like they're still changing a lot of things. Hopefuly it will be fixed on beta servers very soon.

Dungeon Sets Preview - Cloth Armor Sets
Shanai posted an interesting posts on the forums a few days ago. The first dungeon sets have been added to the beta files and Cloth sets are now available.

They are dungeon sets (5-man gear), they are NOT class raid sets. These sets drop from 5-man dungeons and possibly aren't even real "sets" with bonuses

Mini-update on the site: We're waiting on the shiny new servers, work already started and the search function has been reactivated on the site! Guild Leveling - Guild Perks List
Guild Talents were removed a while back and replaced with Guild Perks.

There are 25 guild levels and each level will automatically reward with an extra perk. The leveling process remains unchanged and your guild will gain experience through PvP, Dungeon and Raid progression, questing, etc ...

Recently a friend has tossed me off to a place called 'the escapist' in which I came across an interesting discussion of weird fetishes etc... And Realid managed to appear in a comment somehow... Here is the line: "I REALLY wish I hadnt googled "Futanari" to see what it was and as for the "while shes on her period" guys, eww I mean whatever floats your boat, but eww. I just dont get that at all, so Glad we dont have a RealID system here anyway lol. "

Cataclysm is still in early beta but a lot of interface changes are already implemented in the game. This post is the first of a 3-part preview of the interface changes in Cataclysm, today I will just stick to the general interface.

Spellbook
The Spellbook has been fully revamped, it looks nicer and has a couple of extra features.

Professions now have their own tab.
All spells and their training level are now displayed in the book.

Engineering in Cataclysm - Enchants, Scopes, and GemsThe Engineering page released on NDA lift day lacked content because spells aren't flagged as "Engineering" yet, however it looks like a lot of stuff is already here and there is enough content to give you a small preview of Engineering in Cataclysm. The items with the biggest omg-epic factor are obviously the helms that I already posted 2 weeks ago. - Plate - Melee.DPS - Plate - Spell - Mail - Phys.DPS - Mail - Spell - Leather - Phys.DPS - Leather - Spell - Cloth - SpellNew engineering-only enchants are available: - Permanently attaches gnome-matic phase finger technology to a pair of gloves, allowing a skilled engineer to increase their haste rating by 340 for 12 sec. The gloves can only be activated every minute. - Permanently attaches quickflip deflection plates onto gloves, allowing you to increase your armor by 1500 for 12 sec. Gloves can only be activated once every minute. Attaching the armor webbing causes the gloves to become soulbound. An Engineering skill of 500 is required to keep the webbing active. - Permanently attaches a tazik shocker to your gloves, allowing a skilled engineer to deal 1654 to 2020 Nature damage to an enemy at long range. The shocker can only be used once every 45 sec. Can only be used on the engineer's gloves, and doing so will cause them to become soulbound. - Permanently attaches a specialized injector kit to your belt, allowing you to inject a directly into your bloodstream for increased effect. Only a skilled engineer can activate the modified belt. Can only be attached to your own belt, and doing so causes the belt to become soulbound. - Permanently attaches a specialized injector kit to your belt, allowing you to power-drink a for increased effect. Only a skilled engineer can activate the modified belt.
