1. Name: Commitment (Ethan irl)

2. Class: Priest

3. Race: Human

4. Age (Real Life): 19

5. Professions: Elixir Spec Alchemy 450, Tailoring 436

6. Rare or Interesting Profession Recipes/Schematics/Formulas: Had a lot of rare ones back in BC. I have every possible discovery from Northrend Alchemy Research. Tailoring.. is 436. Nothing rare in there. Recently dropped herb to pick it up and the reason for that is cloak embroiders. Herb does nothing which is why I dropped it.

7. WoW Armory Link: http://www.wowarmory...c&cn=Commitment

8. General Gear Highlights: My gear can be improved, and I'm willing to work on it by running ICC 10 and TOGC 10 or 25. I have cleared all but anub in TOGC 10

9. Ventrilo: Yes, latest version.

10. Internet Connection Type: Roadrunner, high speed

11. Please indicate what time of day you play (we raid 8:30-11PM Server Sunday through Thursday): I am mostly active during the night, which is why these raid times work for me. Thursday night I have a class running from 6:00-8:40 EST, Get home around 9:30 EST. SO this would be perfect.

12. Raiding Experience: Pre BC: My rogue was my main here. Cleared MC, BWL, AQ20/40, ZG with Lucidity
BC: My priest turned into my main and i started to heal. Cleared Kara, Gruul, Mag, SSC, TK, ZA (timed runs included, owner of a bear mount), Hyjal, and BT all pre 3.0
Wrath: I have cleared Nax, OS (+1 drake 25 man), Maly 25, ToC 10/25, I have cleared some bosses in Ulduar but not mimiron or yogg-saron. I've only downed Lord Marrowgar and attempted Rotface in ICC 10. I was asked to heal for Rotface.

13. Previous Guilds and Reason you left (Please list in order of most recent to first guild): I remained in Empíre for awhile once wrath it. However Atank/Winkleberry quit WoW due to Winkle being pregnant so they had to prepare for the baby. Volii took over as GM. Things were never the same after that. A guild by the name of Tide came over from Ravencrest. 12 came from Tide and took the raiding spot of 12 veteran Empíre raiders. Then, about maybe 3-4 weeks ago Aerothus, Darnasis, and I were muted in g chat for talking about how much we liked BC. Volii said we were annoying people. Also, with Volii there were no more jokes, no more humor, no nothing. Raiding felt like a job for most people. So, Aerothus, Darnasis, Jetty, Commitment (me), ABCsunday, Xenador, Blarrgg left and formed <We Are Not Empíre>. I'm sure you've heard about this. We don't raid, it's just a group of friends

14. Are you willing to respec if needed by the guild?: Yes, I'll respec to which ever is needed

Please Be Honest:(These are the most important questions. We suggest you take some time and give full well rounded answers.)

15: On a progression boss fight list the consumables that you would be using?: I would bring 5 flasks of pure mojo, 25 runic mana potions, 40 Cuttlesteak (I usually use spirit food), 40 Elixir of Spirit, Spellpower Elixir, and Guru's Elixir. Depending on the fight I would either use a flask or elixirs. And also depending on the fight I would use my elixirs to stack spi/mp5 or Spellpower (in which case I would use Spellpower food such as Fish Feast) and this has to do with the healing intensity/length of the fight.

16. Why do you want to join SEVEN?: I want to join a guild that likes to raid as well as have fun. I want a new raiding experience with a horde perspective (and to kill some of alliance that are really annoying :) ).

17. Why would we want you in our guild?: I know how to play my class extremely well and I want to heal people that know what they are doing, not alliance pugs. Alliance pugs are my bete noir (nightmare) and they make people (not just me) want to throw the computer out the window. Feel free to ask me any questions relating to priests. I'm currently theory-crafting a few different ideas.

Optional info about you: My name is Ethan and I'm attending the University of Cincinnati for Advanced Medical Imaging. My hobbies are running (7-8 miles a day/hour) and swimming laps in the pool. I go to L.A. Fitness in between classes to kill time. Which is where I run and swim during the winter

Guild Reference: (someone in our guild that we can talk to about you) I'm not too sure if anyone in S E V E N knows who I am or not :(

Location: Ohio

Comments: Thank you for your time in reading my application.

Edit: Fixed typo

Since Dev hasnt gotten back to you I'll give it a shot.

We currently have 3 healing priests with 100% raid attendance. (not NEAR 100%, but 100%). If we offered you a spot the only thing we may be able to guarantee is a spot healing our second (alt) raids.

That being said I like your application and effort. If I get a job sometime soon you can take my spot =P

Hello! Like Yorik said, we've got priests coming out of the walls (I'm exagerating but y'know) but that's for Dev to consider.

Thanks for posting the logs. I'll admit I just skimmed over the 10 man one but I did poke around the 25 one a bit and I do definitely feel your spell usage is appropriate as well as your choice of healing targets. While your gear may not be at the same level as our holies it's definitely not so far behind that, with a good playstyle, you wouldn't be able to be competitive and useful.

Regarding trinkets, it's generally agreed that Binding Stones are terrible for priests. There are plenty of trinkets that give superior regen and since we have no way to stack the spellpower buff quickly (besides penance but whole different story) it isn't great for throughput either. While it could be great for some burst healing realistically it would be pretty rare to start getting a stack going exactly 8 gcds before you need it. I understand that Solace and Abacus can be hard to get your hands on - I swear Solace is a myth - but I'd definitely attempt to replace with at least Spark of Hope, Purified Lunar Dust, Sliver of Pure Ice, IotDS, Eye of the Broodmother, or Sif's Rememberence.

For consumables, if you're not going with frost wyrm I'd consider Elixirs of Draenic Wisdom in combination with Guru's for regen. If you're interested in playing with the different regen stats you might find this tool useful in calculating which stat yields the greatest benefits in certain situations.

Also in your disc spec I'm a little confused at taking 1/3 improved healing but no divine fury. Improved healing can be useful for a gheal-favouring MT-healing disc priest, not so much for any other purpose. The point would be much better spent in focused will. (Although, even if it's an odd spec imo I don't see this as an 'oh no!' thing - I highly doubt the 1-3 points I would move would make that much of a difference in most situations.)

Lastly, as disc Power Infusion is very rarely best used on the priest (unless you intend to mana burn something). Although there are exceptions it's typically best to make your favourite caster dps a little happier.

Those points are all quite nitpicky though and I will reitterate that I liked the look of the log. In addition to prudent healing choices I also didn't see any silly deaths or standing in no-nos. G'luck with your app and everything. :)

I wouldn't mind being a healer for an alt run and a sub for the main raid when one of the other priests cannot make it, I'm perfectly okay with both of those options.

I'm also aware that Binding Stones are not that great for priests, however that being said I have nothing better to put in its place at this moment. I did have 60 frost badges but I got the Cicle of Ossus because it was a much bigger upgrade than my trinkets. I'm pretty sure Solace doesn't exist btw :P I was going to get the Purified Lunar Dust, but decided to go with the Circle of Ossus. Believe me I'm trying to get rid of that Binding stone. For the Sliver of Pure Ice i'm pretty sure that doesn't exist either. Never seen it drop. Just my luck I suppose. I'm trying incredibly hard to replace it.

For raiding I pretty much only use frost wyrm. But I do have other elixirs as well in case I want to use something else. I also have tons of mana pots as well.

And babybug, seeing me heal as Disc is a pretty rare occasion. I perfer healing as holy, always have always will. However, I will heal as Disc if need be. Like on Deathbringer in ICC. As shields help mitigate him from gaining blood power as quickly. I will put the points in divine fury instead of the reduced spell damage. That is not a problem. I know my disc spec isn't perfect, and I will gladly listen to any tips on how to change it around. I perfer holy > disc.

I'm also aware PI should be used on a caster dps. Like I said, healing as disc for me is a rare occasion, but I will if asked to. I'll gladly listen to any tips to help improve my disc healing. I always heal as holy unless asked otherwise or if the fight limits holy, as in Deathbringer with shields to control his Blood power.

If any of you have any more questions feel free to ask me, thank you.

Gotta hate that one piece of gear! Don't mind if I'm a little rambling sometimes, I just don't want to walk in, go "binding stones are stupid" and walk out.

Yeah that's fair enough about disc. For all round bubbly goodness I'd likely move the point in Improved Healing into Focused Will and max it out with either the points from Healing Focus or two from Spell Warding. The 3% crit is far from amazing, but it's nice and there just isn't much more to choose from. Holy specs are way, way more fun.
