1. Name: Kyle (Bosocks, rogue and Atrocious, Priest)

2. Class: Mutilate Rogue

3. Race: Blood Elf

4. Age (Real Life): 28

5. Professions: Gnomish Engineer/Herbalist, Alchemist/Tailor

6. Rare or Interesting Profession Recipes/Schematics/Formulas: Iceblade Arrows, starting to collect Epic Gem Patterns, currently have most used by Rogue/Hunters.

7. WoW Armory Link: http://www.wowarmory...eroc&cn=Bosocks

8. General Gear Highlights: Gear setup in order to produce the most AP while still hitting all required caps to be a end game raider.

9. Ventrilo: Yes

10. Internet Connection Type: 3meg DSL

11. Please indicate what time of day you play (we raid 8:30-11PM Server Sunday through Thursday): Afternoons from 6 on, almost always Sun-Thur, some Fridays and Saturdays

12. Raiding Experience: 6/12 in ICC 10 man, 4/10 ICC 25 man, Full clear on ToC 10/25

13. Previous Guilds and Reason you left (Please list in order of most recent to first guild): Deus Ex (Alliance), left due to poor raid organization and progression.

14. Are you willing to respec if needed by the guild?: Absolutely

Please Be Honest:(These are the most important questions. We suggest you take some time and give full well rounded answers.)

15: On a progression boss fight list the consumables that you would be using?: Flask of Endless Rage and Potion of Speed, Mega Mammoth Meal if feast is not available.

16. Why do you want to join SEVEN?: I want to be a part of a guild with a strong progression record. I am a no-nonsense raider when it comes to actual raiding. While I like to have fun like everyone else, when push comes to shove I do not enjoy messing around when people should be focused on the task at hand. Nothing makes me more mad than when someone wants to dick around and then complain when the raid can't drop a boss.

17. Why would we want you in our guild?: I am a solid DPS raider, I know my role and I am willing to evolve to stay at the top of the curve in order to maximize my dps and prove that I am an asset to the guild.

Optional info about you: I am a field engineer for ConocoPhillips, I spent 8 years in the military. I take order well and can step up to take charge if the situation warrants it.

Guild Reference: (someone in our guild that we can talk to about you) None

Location: Oklahoma

Comments: Thank you for your consideration. Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.

I have raided with Commitment in the past. He might be able to vouch for me somewhat.

Thanks,
Kyle

Here's the 1 million dollar question. Does Jandriea know you're apping to a horde guild?

Edit: Also here's a tip, drop herbing for a more raid worthy profession

Hey!

Your setup seems fine, few questions though. You seem to have DBW ( Death Bringers Will), why not give combat a go? You have a few arp pieces. Your Professions seem to be a bit weak Engineering is awesome but Herbalism is nice for the hot but other then that i dont see it being all that great. Other then that we do have 3 full time rogues sure not to sure of much of a raid spot you would have, other then that good luck on your app :D

I'm going to have to take an opposite stance to dulity on this one. Why do you have blue gems in near every piece for socket bonus? The extra stam does not outweigh the extra dps from putting in one tear in the best bonus and ignoring the rest of the bonus for red/yellow gems. As well, although its more nitpicky, 38 AP on bracers instead of 50 ap. Why?

Haha, Jan and I went our separate ways Commitment. I was thinking about dropping herbing but I just enjoy farming on my rogue. Not a big deal to level something else that might be more beneficial.

I have play combat if there are situations where there is a lot of target switching, but overall I prefer Assassination, I seem to be able to get into a better rotation and I always do more overall damage on bosses in Mutilate.

Thanks guys.

I have the 50AP on the bracers, it had slipped through the cracks and I literally found it earlier today when I was giving everything a go over again. The only reason I ever had 38AP must of been due to being in a hurry to get them equipped and into a raid when a scroll for 50 was not available. The armory hasn't updated. I also have the tier 10 legs now. The dreadstone gems I chose are the second highest in MAEP behind the tear for a blue slot. You will have to forgive my armory not being updated since the faction change.

Second highest ep, but you're still losing out versus outright ignoring the socket bonus for all but one. Take boots for example, 2 sockets, red and blue. bonus of 6 agi. I'll assume haste is near 2 ep, agi just under, for arguments sake we'll put it at 2 as well. as you have it, you're getting 60 AP and 6 agi, for 72 EP, versus 80 AP flat out. I'm rather curious because you'd put in that your gear setup was for max AP, when it definitely is not :) 150 hp will not save you from a strict enrage timer, but 8 AP on every piece of gear will help sway the odds

Alright. one last one from me, I promise. I see overall 28 agi gained from keeping those blues, 8 of which would still be kept putting a nightmare tear in your chest to cover meta. This comes nowhere close to 6% crit you're talking about, unless you're talking about some major gear swaps along with the gem changes.

I was messed up in looking at overall socket bonuses. I did the tear in the chest to maintain the bonus, changed the bracers to a 40ap, the boots to both 40ap and the blue in the belt to 40ap and the neck to a 40ap gem picking up 80AP at the cost of 20 agi. Should I stick with my AP+Haste gems or go ahead and replace any one that already has a socket bonus broken with a 40ap gem?

That all depends on your gear, a spreadsheet will be able to tell you which is better, although realistically haste will be anywhere from 1.9-2.1 EP, so either or will only be a 1 EP above or below the other. If you've already got ap/haste might as well stick with those, 1 EP (potentially less) isnt worth 200g in my opinion.

Yeah, I was just weighing the EP's on them. I think you are right, won't pick up enough to justify spending 1500g, lol.

Thanks again Pulak, I appreciate it. Night all!

Rogue police not quite, its my job however to make sure that if someone is going to take my raidspot they're up to the task. Last thing anyone wants is a shadyjanitor in their 25 mans.

Well I for one am glad I applied, this is part of the reason I am looking for a serious guild. I hadn't be able to find someone who knew what they were talking about or had an opinion that could be considered valid. It is hard to theorycraft with a rogue who isn't even expertise capped.

For some reason my armory link still hasn't updated since I faction changed to Horde, hopefully it will after server maintenance tomorrow. If anyone wants to inspect me in game feel free to contact me.
